Day 1: Arrival – Danang – City tour & Marble Mountain – Hoi An

On arrival, pick up and we will head out to the fisherman's village - Man Thai Fish village. Where we can see and learn about the life of fishermen and the prevailing fishing practices. Here we still preserve the fishing methods. Here the fishermen still use traditional methods, straw basket boats to fish the booty of the day.

From there we will drive to Son Tra (Monkey) Mountain. Monkey Mountain was a constant observation base during the American-Vietnam War

The peninsula is 693 meters above sea level and 10 km from downtown Da Nang to the northeast. built during the 18th century and houses a 67-meter-tall white statue of the Goddess of Mercy

The area is a spectacular view of the sea and the surrounding area. And dominates the skyline spectacularly.

A statue of Goddess of Mercy stands out from far away also at night. We will go up to the top of the hill to tour the place, a spectacular view and an explanation of the place.

We will head back towards Fisherman's Village for a tour of the local market and free time for lunch {Not included}.

We will continue to Marble Mountain. This is a spiritual area and the five hills , are symbol of five elements in the Asian world, where each element builds and nourishes the next. We will climb to the top of the mountain for a beautiful view of the area.

At the foot of the mountains are scattered artists' villages over 300 years. This is the place to purchase special souvenirs.

Day 2: Hoi An – Ancient Town – Afternoon motorbike tour

This morning, take walking city tour to discover how the traditions of the past are treasured in the present in Hoi An, a key international trading port between the 15th and 19th centuries – now a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its well-preserved, centuries-old streets, dwellings, temples and pagodas, touring Hoi An's historic highlights, explore its shop-lined streets, view the red-painted Japanese Covered Bridge - the three Chinese characters over the door mean "bridge for passers-by from afar" and tour the 200-year-old "Phung Hung" house, noted for its unique architecture. What you'll see there will reveal much about the lives of Hoi An, merchant long ago.

Back to the hotel for short leisure till being ready for motorbike tour

Pick you up in hotel then ridding to small road to visit the countryside village

You will visit Thanh Ha pottery village, more than 500 years old, see the people there still reviving the method of making pottery by hand from their ancestors and you can learn how you can make your own pottery.

We will drive to visit noodles and rice paper homemade factory. Here you can learn how to make rice paper or noodle. Driving to Kim Bong Carpentry village and visit wood carving home factory. We can see how wooden ships are built.

We continue driving along the river and enjoy the view. Our next stop at local sleeping mats, local traditional handicrafts.

After tour, we will drive to relax along the river in local restaurant and enjoy cold coconut and fruit. Return back to your hotel. Stay overnight in Hoi An

Day 3: Hoi An – Eco tour & Cooking class – Hoi An Memories show

Meal provided: Breakfast, Lunch, Optional for Set Menu Dinner at local restaurant

 

Morning tour: 8:00 am – 12.00 - 12:30 pm

You will be picked up by local tour guides at the hotel.

You will be driven to Hoi An Market (around half an hour), you can feel the bustle of the morning market, have an opportunity to have a direct contact with sellers.

You might also learn some tips of “bargaining” when going shopping

Our tour guides will introduce to you the necessary ingredients for cooking classes. Then you will have a sightseeing tour along the Thu Bon River and Cua Dai beat by boat. On the river, you have a chance to contemplate the river beauty in the countryside of Vietnam.

Next, you can get some loveable handmade souvenirs made from nipa palm leaves such as hats, watches, rings… When you do on bamboo basket boat. You will immersed natural beauty of the nipa palm forest.

Then be welcome in our restaurant. At here, after you use welcome drinking, you paint on bamboo Sieve by yourself

At the end, participate in cooking class with our chefs. Cooking classes will take place within 2 hours, the chef will teach you how to cook Vietnamese cultural cuisine. Then you can enjoy Vietnamese food make by yourself. Finally, you come back to the hotel by car. End of the trip.

See Hoi An Memories show. With the message: “A day in Hoi An - A hundred years of reminiscence”, Hoi An Memories is a really huge boat that will bring  the audience to the ancient city port on the legendary Silk Road over the course off 400 years. The classic references of love and the history of present will be related by the performance of almost 500 actors. Here, more 100 girls who wear the Vietnamese dress on the stage are the main language to relate all the history and an image symbolic for the historic course of time

Day 4: Hoi An – Leisure day

OPTION 1, Hoi An – Bana Hills with Golden Bridge – Hoi An

Meal provided: Breakfast, Buffet Lunch in Bana

 

Duration: 6 hours

Start our trip to Ba Na Hills, a hill station and resort located in the Truong Son Mountain west of the city of Danang. The station, advertised as "the Dalat of Danang province" by local tourism authorities, was founded in 1919 by French colonists. A trip on cable car will offer you a chance to admire the panorama of Ba Na Hills, spring stream, Danang city and Danang coast from your cabin at the height of 1,487 meters above sea level. Keep taking nice walk to Golden Bridge. Winding its way around a 150-meter course lined with flowers, a golden bridge shimmers against the Ba Na Hills, supported by a pair of giant hands. The bridge sits 1,400 meters above sea level, an altitude which creates the illusion of a silk strip hiding in the clouds above Da Nang.

Take cable car down and back to the hotel. Stay overnight in Hoi An

 

OPTION 2, Hoi An – Cham Island (Join-in group) – Hoi An

Meal provided: Breakfast, Set menu Lunch in Cham Island

 

Duration: 6 hours

- 8h30-8h45   : Pick up at Cua Dai harbor, to register with the Border Police before heading to the island.

- 8h45   : Start to Cham Island by speed boat.

- 9h15   : Arriving in the island at Bai Lang, visiting the local fishing village, the showroom where the history, map, objects are displayed. Visiting Au Thuyen where the local boats are hidden in big storms, walking along the rice field to the over-100-years-old temple of Hai Tang,

- 10h30 : Go to Ong beach to relax, then transfer to Xep beach for snorkeling, see the forest of nice coral under the sea.

- 12h00 : Back to Ong beach for lunch and  relax in the fresh wind and enjoy the beautiful landscape

- 14h30 : Return to the mainland.

Back to the hotel. Stay overnight in Hoi An

 

OPTION 3, Hoi An – Silk Village

Duration: 4 hours (Either morning departure 09:00 – 13:00 or afternoon departure 14:00 – 18:00)

Pick up by private car and escort at the Silk Village

Meet your local guide at the village

- Enjoy the welcome drink with mulberry juice before starting the tour

- Visit the Traditional House and discover the history of sericulture, silk unraveling and silk weaving.

- Discover the Cham Culture; see the collection of Cham mulberry trees and the weaving process of Cham People from the 5th century to the mid 15th century.

- Visit traditional Vietnamese mulberry garden. Learn how to get the best mulberry leaves, cut into small pieces and hand-feed the silkworms

- Visit unraveling House: understand how to get silk thread from the cocoon to weave silk fabric. Experience the job with Cham artisans and craftsmen

- Visit Chamtextile House: discover the weaving process of Cham People on short and long wooden loom to have the unique handicraft products. The Champa artisan will guide customer how to weave the brocade, how to move the silk thread to have different beautiful patterns.

- Visit Cuu Dien House: discover the pure handicraft silk in the beginning of 20th century which is preserved till now in Quang Nam Province. Feeling the original silk threads from the cocoons and its different after process. Experience silk weaving process to understand how difficult to have pure silk products.

- Visit Hoi An Silk Village exhibition: understand the difference between pure silk and fake silk fabric. The variety silk products here will provide for your shopping and tailoring demand

- Enjoy lunch or dinner at Silk Village Restaurant after an interesting silk tour.

After the tour, meet your private car and back to the hotel. Stay overnight in Hoi An

 

Day 5: Hoi An – Full-day to Co Tu tribe village  

Meal provided: Breakfast, Optional for Set Menu Dinner at local restaurant

 

8:00 am Departure from the meeting point in Hoi An The possibility of collecting from (Danang) A journey of about two and a half hours west of Danang will lead us to a spectacular mountainous natural area. The area also belongs to Qungng Nam province and is bordered with eastern Laos.

10:30 Approximate arrival time to the village (conditional on the time of the stops on the way and the kind of Transportation) Upon arrival we will tour the village. Get to know the local lifestyle. We will walk between the houses and know the purpose of the trees in the village. We will take a short trek to the path leading down to the river.

(For those interested in swimming) we will sit and enjoy refreshing fruit and a bottle of water.

12:30 We will return to the village to the sounds of ethnic instrumental music enjoying a local tribal lunch.(chicken menu)

13:30 We will try our best to shoot the bow and arrow using the locals' method of hunting their food.

14:00 We will leave all the fun we had in the village and drive for about an hour to a special water park along the river to enjoy an hour-long rafting cruise.

Towards 4 pm we will leave this charming area and drive back to Hoi An.

Day 6: Hoi An – Hue – Hoi An

Meal provided: Breakfast, Optional for Set Menu Dinner at local restaurant

 

This morning, depart to Hue.

On arrival, explore the Citadel starting with Ngo Mon gate  created in the 19th century under the Nguyen Dynasty, the Imperial Museum, Thai Hoa palace where the King  worked the Forbidden Purple City where the King and his family lived, The Mieu temple where the kings are worshipped. Next, to explore Cu Dinh – 9 bronze urns which are considered as the masterpieces of Vietnamese bronze casting and carving art.

Then, board a private cruise to enjoy Hue's beautiful scenery along the romantic Perfume River.

The next visit is the ancient Thien Mu Pagoda built in 1601 – The most beautiful pagoda in Central Vietnam.

Next, discover King Tu Duc tomb. The tomb but not tomb. It is like a very romantic palace for the King - also used as second palaces to relax when he was alive.

Coming back to Hoi An in late afternoon. Stay overnight in Hoi An

 

Day 7: Hoi An - Departure

Enjoy your free time till being transferred to the airport for flight back to home.
